Mommy's Big Helper

Isaac has always been a good helper around the house. He likes to slam dunk his blocks into the box and put his Hot Wheels into the case when we are putting away the toys. He likes to dust with either a feather duster or with a sock over his hand. He holds the cord right behind me while I vacuum. He helps a lot with laundry by putting his own dirty clothes in his laundry basket, carrying the laundry basket, handing me the dryer vent to clean, and pushing the clothes into the dryer. He helps clean the bathrooms by drying off the edge of the bathtub after I clean it and shining the shower door while I clean the inside. His new favorite thing to help with, though, is cooking. Everytime I'm in the kitchen, he wants to help. He's been helping to wrap the corn for a while now, but the past couple of months, he wants to help do it all! He loves to stir, has a fascination with eggs (all of his recipes have eggs and water when he reads them), wants to "dump" the food into the bowl, and of course, be the official taste-tester! In these pictures, he is helping make muffins by putting the papers in the muffin pan. (He picked up the thumbs up and "Okie Dokie" while we were in Arkansas last weekend.)
