Home Again, Home Again...

Hello, All!
We made it back home this morning between 12:30 and 1:00. Jim thought to set the tripometer button on the truck when we filled up at McKinney on our way out Wednesday the 17th, and we checked it when we pulled into the garage last night. It read 1805. That is how many miles our sweet children sat (fairly tolerantly) strapped down on their backsides for our tri-state Christmas trip. In contrast to last year, we were also thankful to make it through the entire trip with only one small transportation mishap (nail in a tire - flat fixed for $10 - while we were still at Grams and Grandpa's) and seemingly have returned home with only one runny nose (just Jim - so far). While we were gone, we attended 5 Christmas celebrations and a birthday party. We received lots of great gifts (thank you, everybody!), and thanks to our new bedcover and Jim's organizational skills, we were able to return home with all of our old and new belongings (minus one child-sized electric motorcycle that Aunt Candy will be transporting on Thursday). We got to spend time with lots of family and friends that we don't get to see very often and really enjoyed our trip. We will still be pretty busy this week getting everything unpacked and catching up on things around the house, but I will hopefully get some time to do some catch-up posting next week.
