"But, Mommy...." and "But, Daddy...." were whined for the first time last night at supper. They have been whined repeatedly since then. ARGH!!!
Isaac has also become very sensitive to any laughing. "Are you laughing at me?!" is usually asked with a pouty expresssion and accusing tone.
On a bright note, Maw-Maw taught him a cool trick this weekend. We've been talking a lot about left and right. It comes up naturally in driving and in Wii boxing. Maw-Maw taught him that his birthmark is on his right hand to help him remember which is which. I've been asking him to wave his right/left hand several times since we've been home, and he gets it correct most of the time!

- Upon graduating from college, I worked as a high school English and ESL teacher for four years. While teaching, I earned my Master's degree in library science and worked for two years as a middle school librarian. Then I met Jim. We dated for almost 2 months before he asked me to marry him. We were then married on our 7-month anniversary. Upon returning from our honeymoon, I became a Texan. We were married for two years...and then I met Isaac. Two years more...introducing Noah. After being out on my own and working for six years, I worried if I would like being a stay-at-home mom. I now can't think of anything I'd rather be doing!!! I feel extremely blessed to be with my little tadpoles every day, watching them grow and learn. I am curious, though not anxious, to see the princes they become.
